Stephanie & John

Stephanie and John wanted to do things very simply. And bravo to them because they pulled it off just beautifully. They got married at her parent's beautiful home in Orlando with an intimate guest list. Even the dogs came, with shirts and dresses no doubt! Our two dogs are our kids, so we understand how important they are to every family. One of the little dogs thought it was a perfect time during the ceremony, because no one was paying attention, to start helping himself to the hors d'oeuvres. Then we followed it up with a nice reception at Cowboy Orlando with all their closest friends and family.

Mimi & Peter

Mimi and Peter met each other standing in line at Starbucks. How cool is that? I never knew people met people the old fashioned way anymore... by actually talking to that cute guy or girl in line. I always get weird looks when I try to talk to someone in line, you know just to make conversation. So this couple was truly meant to be. I even got to try out my Diana+ I got for Christmas - it's from the 70's and shoots in medium format! We had a great time as usual and Mimi and Peter went to Kauai (the garden island of Hawaii) for their honeymoon! My husband and I's favorite place on earth. It's absolutely beautiful. If you haven't been, you should go.

Sherry-Lynn & Reidland

We booked Sherry-Lynn and Reidland as clients shortly before my back surgery so we had to put off their engagement session until I was better. Last weekend we went out to shoot with this super cute couple at the Maitland Art Center. It's very artistic and a lovely space. You can spend all day there shooting if you really wanted to, there is so much to see and so many interesting spaces to discover.

Kelly & John

Kelly and John were an easy couple to shoot - very easy going. We shot in the Winter Park area and were in for a cold evening. It was at least 45 to 50 degrees (I of course had on my hoodie and batman beanie to keep my little ears warm) and poor Kelly wanted to brave the cold and not wear her jacket - thanks for being troopers you guys! Needless to say, my assistant, Megan had frozen fingers by the time we finished, but she did an excellent job being my human light stand. Oh and by the way, these two met at the US Open, how cool (i.e. reason for US Open shirts)!
